About Me

Partner in the leading regional accountancy practice with an ambition for us to be the natural choice for innovative, quality business advice.

I have worked in both industry and practice. From 2008-2014 I was Managing Partner leading the firm through recession and on to significant success including many national awards. I understand what it's like to be in the CEO hot seat and what it's like to be a client! This helps me bring a commercial and pragmatic approach to advice well beyond technical matters.

This approach led to me being invited to sit on the boards of ProReal and Navtech Radar, both exciting innovative companies.

As a member of the Board of Kreston International from 2013-16 I have many international connections and access to an international team of 21,000 people in over 100 countries providing tax advice, advisory work, audits and compliance services to owner-managed and listed businesses.

In 2013 I was delighted to be invited to chair Invest in Oxfordshire, a part of the LEP focussed on bringing more enterprise and jobs into Oxfordshire particularly in the Life Sciences, Space technology and high end manufacturing and materials industries.

Having been finance trustee for the educational charity NACE since 2010 in November 2014 I became Chairman. My other charitable activities include co-founding and running Festival Spirit and active membership of Rotary. I am also a Patron of the Science Museum.

Specialties: Technology businesses, foreign subsidiaries and international business. Business leadership and support for entrepreneurs. Non-executive directorships.
